Sandi McMenamin
entertainer - composer - piano teacher
Sandi has been teaching music in high schools and primary schools for 30+ years. She can teach all kinds of music from classical to rock and roll – to all ages at all stages. Some of her students enter AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board) examinations – Classical, Piano For Leisure, or CPM (Contemporary Popular Music) – and regularly achieve excellent results. As a music graduate of the University of Adelaide, Sandi is committed to a very high standard of tuition.
Sandi is the former CPM (Contemporary Popular Music) representative on the AMEB State Advisory Committee.
Academic Qualifications
● 17 years of classical piano study including Bachelor of Music degree (University of Adelaide) 1972 under Richard Meale and Lance Dossor (piano) and Donald Munro (vocal)
● Secondary study: French

After hearing how well children sang THE SPIRIT OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA Sandi invited 5 Year 2 children from East Adelaide School to perform the song with her. (In photo with Sandi from left to right: Lucy Timbrell, Rose Pullen, Riley Sutton, Alexia Vafiadis, and Serrin Prior Bonus). 10 years on Riley appeared as guest vocalist in Sandi’s cabaret show on Feb 7, 2009.
